Nice Côte d’Azur, destination congrès et Terre d’événements
Nice est aujourd’hui le deuxième pôle de congrès national après Paris, et un des tout premiers pôles européens dans le domaine médical.
Le tourisme d’affaires représente à Nice 10 % des visiteurs soit entre 1,5 et 2 millions de touristes d’affaires par an.
Nice dispose d’infrastructures et équipements importants :
- Un aéroport international (deuxième aéroport de France), construit sur la mer : il héberge 33 compagnies desservant 100 destinations dans 73 pays
- Une capacité de 185 établissements dont 171 hôtels et 15 résidences hôtelières (2ème parc hôtelier de France), Nice détient 1/3 du marché de l’offre d’hébergement de la Côte d’Azur.
- Des structures d’accueil des congressistes : le Palais des Congrès Acropolis (capacité de 12.000 personnes) et le Palais des Expositions Acropolis (14.000 m2 d’espaces d’exposition, 3 espaces modulables et un auditorium de 250 places).
A cela viennent s’ajouter une multitude de salles et de salons répartis entres les hôtels et différents espaces.
L’organisation d’événements, séminaires, congrès et conventions est géré par un réseaux d’agences réceptives et événementielles, DMC et PCO compétentes et rodées depuis des années au tourisme d’affaires.
Cette année, Nice accueillera entre autres Cardiostim.

- a capacity of 185 accomodations consisting of 171 hotels and 15 holiday residences. Nice is the second most popular vacation resort in France and hold 1/3 of the accommodation market within the French Riviera.
- destination management companies receiving convention participants: The Palais des Congrès Acropolis (12 000 persons), the Palais des Exposition Acropolis (14 000 m2 of exhibition area, 3 areas adaptable and an auditorium with 250 places)
You can also add a great number of halls and meeting rooms shared by hotels and different areas.
The event organisation, congresses, conventions and workshops are administrated by destination management and event companies like DMC and PCO that are competent and important players in the business travel branch for many years.
This year Nice also welcomes amongst others Cardiostim company.
